Governance
Every AI output in a finance context must be challengeable, auditable, and explainable. That is not optional and not something to retrofit later. The more automated the process, the more consequential the governance framework becomes. An error in a manually built spreadsheet affects one analysis. An error embedded in a model that feeds automated reforecasting affects the entire planning cycle. Governance requirements rise in direct proportion to AI adoption, not fall. Organisations that skip this step do not save time. They create risk.
