Meanwhile, employees are demanding more pay transparency as they become more aware of what their peers are paid, and the benefits they receive. Unless a company addresses pay internally, they are likely to see employees moving into other roles and other companies.
There’s a gap in perception around pay between employers and employees as well:

It’s highly possible that companies are losing talent due, not to a reality, but a perception around pay — and a better process that leans on data as well as benchmarks, and provides visibility and transparency could help mitigate that factor.
