We’re moving into a ‘people-powered’ era of business. One where the workforce must be prioritized alongside the profit and productivity that is so carefully managed.
But businesses are struggling to achieve key priorities such as productivity and efficiency, most commonly because of recruitment and retention. All but the highest performing ‘optimizing’ businesses are putting little focus on improving those areas, perpetuating the issue.
And despite relatively high levels of technology adoption generally, businesses are still really struggling with their finance management and forecasting processes. This, in turn, stunts an organization’s ability to be agile, accurate and deliberate in their decision making.
Like our ‘optimizers’, businesses who can tie together a perfect blend of technology, automation and people will vastly improve this often-overlooked function.
